The January/February 2012 issue of Imbibe Magazine features an article titled "Wake up and smell the coffee cocktails. Brave New Buzz". This article discusses the growing relationship that exists between coffee and spirits. Coffee and spirits have their own unique properties, however when crafted carefully these two ingredients can come together to "make for an awesome combination." It is interesting how the article notes that "the border dividing bartenders from baristas' is growing increasingly vague" as more establishments are experimenting and combining the two elements for some innovative coffee cocktails.
