This is a 3-day hands-on course designed for Service Technicians who wish to learn about BUNN beverage
equipment. The BUNN Associate Certification indicates that the Service Technician has met the minimum
requirements established by the BUNN Corporation. The overall course objectives are:

1. When given a schematic for a machine and a list of symbols, the learner will be able to locate and explain the purpose of each symbol.
2. When given an Ohms Law chart and a list of formulas, the learner will be able to use the chart to calculate the results.
3. When given a machine to plumb, the learner will be able to identify the correct fittings, line pressure and water filtration needs.
4. When given a grinder, the learner will be able to identify the type of grinder it is and be able to adjust the burrs for that grinder.
5. When given a coffee machine, the learner will be able to explain how the machine fills with water, heats the water, and brews the coffee.
6. When given a tea machine, the learner will be able to explain how the machine fills with water, heats the water, and brews the tea.
7. When given a machine with a Digital Brewer Control, the learner will be able to identify the type of Digital Brewer it is and will be able to navigate through the programming mode of the brewer.
8. When given a broken machine with many possible malfunctions, the learner will be able to locate the malfunction and repair it.
