Step #2:  Determine the Model Number and Date Code

There are two places to locate your model number and date code:

1. The model number is located on the sides of the carton in which the coffee brewer was sold, and the six-digit date code is stamped on a small white or silver sticker on top of the carton (if there is a seventh digit on the carton date code, ignore it and use the first six digits). You may have noted the model number and date code in your Use & Care Manual when you set up your coffee brewer.

1. The model number and date code are located on the bottom of the coffee brewer stamped on small white or silver stickers.

The model number is located on a small white or silver sticker on the bottom of the coffee brewer (eg – GR-10B, GR-10W, B-10B, B-10W).

The date code is a six-digit number located on a small white or silver sticker on the bottom of the coffee brewer.  The code reads as follows:  two-digit day of the month (01 to 31), two-digit week of the year (01 to 52) two-digit year (01 to 05).

Because the water inside of your coffee brewer will be hot, do not attempt to check the model number or date code stickers on the bottom of the coffee brewer without first turning off and unplugging the coffee brewer and then allowing the water inside the coffee brewer to cool.
