From late October through November, BUNN brand ambassadors "hit the streets" to meet coffee people, show them the new Phase Brew and talk about how to brew their best cup. We were zooming around on Segways at 5 stops in Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids and Cincinnati. The best part of each day was chatting with current BUNN owners, who all have terrific BUNN stories to share, and spreading the word to folks who don't know how much the machine matters to enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. Take a look at this video that recaps the fun we all had.

Did you see the ABC News segment this week called Made in America? It was an intriguing feature and has captured the attention of many people, especially BUNN home brewer owners. We were contacted by the show while they were searching for coffee makers that are Made in America and explained that many of our products are proudly Assembled in the USA. What does that mean? According to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), in order to claim that your product is Made in the USA your product must be all or virtually all manufactured in the USA.

It is amazing to think that 60 years ago the world did not have the internet, smart phones, wi-fi, Facebook, flat screen televisions or... home coffee makers!  In the 1950s and 1960s people brewed coffee at home with a percolator. Today there are numerous ways to brew from drip coffeemakers to single-serve brewers to French press.  To help you see where home coffee brewing has from here is a time line of the evolution.  Of course we've incorporated BUNN home brewer evolutions to the list.
