Versatility coupled with advanced brewing technology in a compact machine is the staple of the BUNN exclusive Infusion Series® brewers. The line of coffee and tea brewers allows different brewing profiles from the same machine and boasts a footprint less than 11 inches (28cm) wide, saving valuable counter space while still providing the consistent quality in the cup you’ve come to expect from BUNN.

When it comes to famous pairings its unlikely chips and coffee are going to make anyone’s list, but in the case of our AXIOM® RFID brewing system, its an ideal combination in terms of profitability and sustainability.

BUNN uses RFID equipped collars for glass decanters and a unique chip holder for insulated stainless steel thermal decanters. This optimizes operator efficiency by automatically managing coffee freshness, warmer use, and energy management of the compatable brewer.

Last year during my trip to Guatemala I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the devastating Roya disease that is currently plaguing the coffee crop in Central America.  Roya, or coffee leaf rust, is a parasitic fungus that deprives a coffee plant of nutrients thus denying the leaves any nutrition.   Without its foliage, the plant is unable to breathe and ceases producing fruit and eventually dies. 1

It is not uncommon to hear people compare coffee and wine.    After all both "coffee and wine are from agricultural products---fruits, which are comparably small, sweet, and round---and are best harvested ripe. There's a season for harvest and processing for both. Both can also be identified by variety and origin, and both use many of the same terms to describe beverage sensory perception."  (SCAA Chronicle  http://www.scaa.org/chronicle/2012/07/06/is-coffee-just-like-wine/)

Coffee martinis are simple and delicious, but how about this one with a little more complexity and romance!

This is a drink you can curl up with along with your Valentine.  It's called the Lover's Drink.  I call it lovers drink because it has three of my most favorite ingredients: Coffee, Wine and Chocolate.

Silky, creamy body, high notes of tannins and ripe cherry fruit followed by deep complexity of chocolate with a finish of coffee characterize this drink.

I love coffee. My work is coffee.  Naturally I was intrigued by a NPR news article that was sent to me about a 100- year- old tradition that is helping the less fortunate enjoy a warm cup of coffee.
