Focused on Growing

Sep 7, 2016|

If you had only two words to describe BUNN International Regional Sales Manager Kimberly Yer’s life, you’d be hard pressed not to pick growth and volunteerism. Those two likely best describe the foundation for both her personal and professional lives.

A native of Singapore, Yer spent many years working in sales in the coffee industry before she joined the BUNN team at the beginning of 2016. In her current position she is responsible for growing sales and elevating customer relations in Southeast Asia. While growing equipment sales is her daily focus at work, when she’s not in the office, Yer continues to look for ways to grow the coffee industry with a focus on barista development.

“A big part of my life is volunteering in the coffee industry by organizing competitions and giving my time to the coffee industry and with baristas specifically, “Yer said. “I believe in developing baristas and giving every one of them a chance to excel and grow more in their profession.”

Yer currently serves as the Vice President of the Singapore Coffee Association and is a member of the South East Asia Region (ASEAN) Coffee Federation. She was also the Stage Manager for the World Latte Art Championships earlier this year.

When she joined the BUNN team earlier this year, Kimberly began to learn more about the company and found something that made her feel immediately at home.

Yer mentioned that BUNN is very close to her heart because the company’s Brand Pillars of providing an exceptional experience for its customers and having the people who work with the company be the center of its mission actually fit perfectly with what she believes in.

“I am very excited to be a part of this company,” she added.
