Surprise your guests on New Year's Eve with a coffee bar

Dec 29, 2011|

Your guests are having the time of their life at your New Year's Eve party -- mixing, mingling and enjoying the festive mood.  Give your NYE party guests an unexpected surprise this year with a fabulous chic coffee bar ready to serve customized hot or cold coffee drinks!  Trust us; your party will be the talk of the town!

We suggest setting up two coffee bars to give your guests options -- a cold drink coffee bar and a hot drink coffee bar.

 Cold Drink Coffee Bar

The cold drink coffee bar is a way to enjoy coffee with ice cream for a sweet treat to end the night!

What you will need:

  • Assortment of brewed coffees
  • Ice Creams-  Any flavor but below are a few we suggest trying:
    • Chocolate mint
    • Coffee
    • Vanilla
    • Raspberry
    • Butter Pecan
    • Liqueurs to add to your coffee drinks- Experiment but below are a few suggestions.
      • Amaretto
      • Cherry Heering
      • Crme de Menthe
      • Kahlua
      • Grand Marnier
      • Garnishes- Again experiment! You really can't go wrong with any type of garnish but here are some suggestions!
        • Whipped cream
        • Chocolate Shavings
        • Fresh berries
        • Cinnamon
        • Candy

To begin, brew an assortment of different coffees ahead of time and chill.   At serving time, place the brewed coffees in pitchers or carafes so your guests can add the coffee of their choice to their glass.

In chilled mugs or glasses, put 1-2 scoops of ice cream. Have your guests add 2 tablespoons of the liqueur of their choice.   Instruct your guests to fill the remainder of their mug with the coffee of their choice and garnish as desired!

Your guests will love their cold coffee drink creations and you for hosting such a creative coffee bar!
